| Built of stone, stucco and steel, the design meets the traditional southwest design guidelines of the Troon community but feels contemporary. The natural features of the site suggested guest bedrooms should be in a separate building from the main house. This allowed the plan to be developed in a way that preserved the desert wash in the middle of the property, screened neighboring homes and framed city views. It also created the resort experience that the owners wanted for their guests. The home is a true collaboration between owners and architect. |
