| Besides providing a new Science Center for the Upper School, this project responds to the larger challenge of beginning to build a more cohesive campus image. A colonnade knits together old and new buildings and creates a new entry for the school. The configuration of structures forms a desert courtyard, which becomes an educational space in itself, with a proscenium, experimental garden, aqueduct and fountain. |
